Conner Henderson Bond

Conner Henderson Bond, age 26, of Maben, MS, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Conner was a longtime resident of Ocean Springs, MS. He graduated with honors from Ocean Springs High School. He received an Associates Degree from MGCCC, and a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University. He resided in Maben with his wife, Kody, along with their beloved animals, Tito, Tator, Viola, Spectre, and his snake Chino.

Conner’s heart was always full of love for art, music, and animals. From a young age, he was enrolled in guitar lessons, pouring hours into learning every riff from his favorite heavy metal bands. Animals gravitated to him—he never hesitated to bring home a rescue or help a creature in need. Tattooing was more than a profession for Conner; it was how he brought joy and stories to others, transforming skin into living art at Tatt2d Voodoo in Columbus, MS. Every design he created was a piece of himself, and every client became a friend.

Conner was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vance and Sue Henderson.

He is survived by his wife, Kody Lynn James Bond; his parents, Christopher (Tabitha) Bond and Amanda (Damien) Bond; grandparents, Phillip (June) Bond and Patricia Wiggins; siblings, Taylor Shackelford, Colt Bond, Locklynn (Justin) Roy, Gabrielle (Noah) Watts, and Chase Marlin Bond; great-grandparents, Jack and Louise Vuyovich; niece, Hadley Watts, and Kody’s brothers, Zayne James, Sebastian James, Bubba Whittemore, plus a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. A celebration of life will begin at 4:00 pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs, MS with Kyle Palmer officiating.

In lieu of gifts or flowers please make a donation in honor of Conner to the Jackson County Humane Society or St. Jude’s’s Children’s Research Hospital.
