Connie Lynn Duske, 74, of McPherson, KS, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.
She was born in McPherson on July 17, 1950, the daughter of Ernest and Lillian Verda (Ratzlaff) Gibson.
Connie attended Peaceful Prairie Grade School, McPherson Jr. High School and graduated from McPherson High School in 1968. She then attended Hutchinson Community College. where she received her Associates Degree in X-Ray Technology.
Connie worked at McPherson Hospital as an X-Ray Technician. She also worked at Dillons and Jubilee Food in McPherson.
Connie enjoyed reading, going on trips, loved decorating for Christmas and spending time with friends and family.
Connie was united in marriage to Dean Duske on September 14, 1974 in McPherson.
She is survived by her husband, Dean of McPherson; children, Darin Duske of McPherson and Ashley Duske of McPherson; sister, Carol Van Nordstrand of McPherson; five grandchildren, Sami, Sommer, Slater, Ashlyn and Dylan, and two great grandsons, Sawyer and Kydon.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Todd Culver.
Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Glidden-Ediger-Wiggins Chapel in McPherson.
Memorial Service will be 10:30 am, Monday, March 17, 2025 at Glidden-Ediger-Wiggins Chapel, with Pastor Herb Smith officiating.
Burial will be held at McPherson Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First Congregation United Church of Christ and be sent to Glidden-Ediger-Wiggins Funeral Home, 222 W. Euclid St., McPherson, KS 67460.
