Constance M. (Bertino) Giuliani, 91, died peacefully on June 7, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ after an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Vineland.
Connie was born in Vineland, NJ to Joseph and Marie (Virano) Bertino. She graduated Vineland High School in 1948. She graduated from Wilfred Academy in 1949 and worked for 14 years at Petti Salon where she was a well-known hairdresser. In 1967, she did a favor for her brother Ernest Bertino and oversaw his office at Vineland Auto Electric while he took an extended vacation with his family and she never left. She spent the next 56 years running Accounts Payable for the business which was later taken over by her nephew Joseph Bertino. She loved being able to work every day with her nieces and nephews. She worked five days a week up until January 2023.
In 1962 she married the love of her life, Joseph Giuliani, of Vineland and they honeymooned for 2 months in Italy. They were happily married for 43 years until he passed in 2005. Connie loved to cook and bake. If you were ever lucky enough to be at her table you were in for a treat. She was an avid reader, loved to knit, and watch Philadelphia Flyers hockey games. Her greatest joy was being with her family, laughing and sharing family stories. She and her daughter and grandson shared an incredible bond and she loved spending time with them at their home in PA, playing with her grandpuppy. She would cheer her grandson on at hockey and lacrosse games, shop with her daughter, and loved to try new restaurants. She was always the life of the party.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Giuliani Procaccino, of Newtown, PA; grandson Christian Procaccino, of Boston, MA; nephew Joseph (Bonnie) Bertino of Vineland, NJ; Nieces Cheri (Deno) Venturi of Vineland, NJ, and Anne (Bernie) Lapinsky of Voorhees, NJ, numerous grand nieces and grand nephews. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Joseph Giuliani, her son-in-law Philip Procaccino, parents Joseph and Marie (Virano) Bertino, brother and sister-in-law John and Rita Bertino, brother and sister-in-law Ernest and Rita Bertino, in-laws Giuiseppe and Rosina (Ruberti) Giuliani, brothers-in-law Anthony, Peter and Giulio Giuliani.
A funeral home visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 9am to 10:30am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be at 11am from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Saint Isidore The Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
