Our beloved father, Craig S. Pappas passed away peacefully Friday November 10, with his loving family by his side, after a short illness.
Craig was a very special and unique man, he had an indescribable alluring personality. He embodied the meaning of a true friend, most importantly to his two children. Craig enjoyed being a family man and devoted Papou. Meaningful holiday traditions were important to him as well as family trips to Old Orchard Beach. Craig was a "motorhead" as they say and a motorcycle enthusiast to his core. He enjoyed riding, racing, and building motorcycles from a young age.
He was a graduate of Dracut High School, where he served as the hockey teams co-captain and was extremely passionate about the sport. Although his biker image perceived him, he had a genuine heart of pure gold and was a true pleasure to know. As a man of very few words, he was a witty man and always had something entertaining to say. Craig spent his years living his life his way, with very few regrets- making him the honorable man we will miss so deeply.
He was born in Lowell on March 20, 1960 and was the son of the late Peter L. and Doris M. (Langevin) Pappas. He is predeceased by his beloved sister Karen (Pappas) Degnan.
He is survived by his son, Evan R. Pappas; his daughter, Lauren E. (Pappas) Zorzi and Husband Lucas M. Zorzi; Grandson, Beckham W. Zorzi and soon to be Granddaughter, Juliette C. Zorzi; his brother Peter L. Pappas Jr. and wife Kathy Pappas; as well as brother-in-law, Kevin Degnan.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 14th from 4pm to 8pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at St. Kathryn Parish, 4 Dracut Rd., HUDSON, NH. Interment will be held privately.

Craig, I cherish the accidental meeting we had a few months ago. We caught up with each other's lives and it was very enjoyable. Looking back, I guess it was God's way of giving us a memory to share that I will never forget
