Cynthia "Cindy" Hughes Winecoff, 73, of Chesapeake, VA went home to be with the Lord around 12:40 pm on August 14, 2025.

Born in Norfolk, VA on August 17, 1951. She was a lifelong resident of Chesapeake. Cindy graduated from Great Bridge High School in 1969 and went on to Kings College in Charlotte. She was an executive secretary for the Family Channel at CBN. Cindy was a beloved choir and church member at Kempsville Presbyterian Church and more recently at Great Bridge Baptist Church.

Cindy is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Gip Winecoff; her two children, Jennifer Winecoff and Alex Winecoff and his wife, Cheyenne; and four grandchildren, Noah, Savannah, Charlotte, and Ella.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Crematory, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, VA 23320 on Saturday, August 16, from 5-7 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, August 17, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Richard Castleberry officiating. Cindy will be laid to rest privately at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. To view the service if unable to attend or to leave a condolence to the family, please visit grahamfuneralhome.com.
