Dale Alan Morrison

Dale Alan Morrison, age 60, born March 28, 1965, went home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2025, at UPMC Hamot.
Dale was part of the Barber National Institute's LifeShare Program and lived with his family, Scott and Ann Marie Tarasovitch, for nearly 20 years. While he became part of the Tarasovitch family, Dale also worked as part of the Barber Institute's Community Supports Program. He was a big fan of WWE wrestling, the Erie Otters, the Erie SeaWolves, and was proud to be an American. Dale held his family close to his heart, creating cherished memories with those he loved, especially his niece and nephews, who considered him the best uncle on the planet. He greeted everyone with a wave and a smile and impacted everyone he knew in a positive way. His strong faith in Jesus guided his life, and he shared a special bond with his pet dogs, Jody Girl and Molly.
He is survived by his family, Scott and Ann Marie Tarasovitch, their sons Scott (Lydia) and Alan (Emily), nephews Hudson, Isaac, Levi, Everett, and niece Sienna. Dale also leaves behind his close, long-time friend Joe Etling, a Barber Institute staff member who knew him before his placement with the Tarasovitch family and was a great support to them. A private memorial service for family will be held on Saturday at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 E. 38th Street.
