Daniel Bruce "Dan" Tingle Jr.

Daniel Bruce "Dan" Tingle, Jr., 67, Martinsville, passed away at 8:03 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
He was born on Friday, July 13, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Daniel Bruce and Beverly June (Selzer) Tingle.
Dan was a 1975 graduate of Eminence High School. He worked for the Town of Mooresville for 45 years and retired as the superintendent of the water treatment plant.
Survivors are his wife, Kimberle Lynn (Hovious) Tingle, whom he married on September 21, 1979; son, Ryan Scott and wife Stacey of Paragon; daughter, Amy Foxworthy of Mooresville; mom, Beverly of Indianapolis; sisters, Diana Henson and husband Dale of Indianapolis and Donna Kukman and husband Jim of Thomasville, Georgia; grandchildren, Cade Scott, Wyatt Scott, Corbin Flowers and Lucy Foxworthy.
Dan was preceded in death by his dad, Daniel; siblings, Troy Tingle and Dana Jo Tingle.
Dan was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and papaw, who enjoyed NASCAR and IndyCar racing, whitewater rafting, camping, and being outdoors.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville with Pastor Darrell Ewing officiating. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service starting at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon.
