David was born on April 17th, 1961 and passed away on
April 13th, 2025 at the age of 63David Wayne Heath of Frankton entered eternal rest on April 13th, 2025, following an extended battle with cancer; he was 63.
David was born in Anderson on April 17, 1961, the second son of Jerry and Lola Heath. A graduate of Frankton High School, he attended classes at Indiana University and Ball State University. He would go on to hold several positions at different points throughout his life, including his role as a school bus driver, but David's focus was always on his farm.
Kindhearted and straightforward, David's warmth and positivity were felt by many. One of his greatest joys was driving the bus for the school sports teams, for which he was often requested. He was also a dedicated member of Frankton Christian Church, as well as his fraternity, Theta Chi. Although he never tired of afternoons on the golf course, David was a homebody at heart. He loved spending time with his pets, tending to his garden, or enjoying a classic film. The loss of his quiet and compassionate spirit will be greatly felt by each of his loved ones.
David is survived by his cousins, Susan (Terry) Poole, Andrea Kiehlmeirer, Jeff Neese, Matt (Roxanne) Jackson, and Ann (Danny) Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Lola Heath, and his brother, Ricky Heath.
Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home of Frankton is honored to care for David and his family at this difficult time. Services for David are scheduled to take place at the funeral chapel next Monday, April 21, 2025. Visiting hours will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm, and a funeral ceremony officiated by Rev. Roger Brooks will begin at 1:00pm. Immediately following the funeral, David will be laid to rest at KoP-IOOF Cemetery following a brief committal service.

David W. Heath... Rest In Peace, Brother. Bless Ur Soul! We met when I began my freshman year @BallState & pledged Theta Chi fraternity, Dave was on his way out, beginning his fledgling business of Hamilton Office Products. Those were the best of times, so many memories, fraternity parties, bowling, country cruises, hanging at the Country Club with Sito, Alberti, & Sears. Photo from Tim Sito's wedding, Dave is on the far right, beside his Lil Bro Mike "Big Philly" Phillips, who was my Big Bro... my grand Big Bro I guess. Tim Sito in center. An essential part of my Greek family. Dave, U were well loved by Ur friends. Ur gone too soon, if only we could go back for a visit.
