David Paul Hubbard Jr

David Paul Hubbard Jr, age 60 of Navarre, Florida and formerly of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on November 27th, 2022. He was born on January 28th, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan to parents David Hubbard Sr and Shirley Mantey.
Dave was the beloved husband of Denise (Hixson) Hubbard. They married on August 11th, 1979. He was the devoted father to David (Lisa), Amy (Eric), Tiffiny (Kurt) Black, Kristin (Nick) Kostakis, and Nicolas (Lauren). Cherished grandfather to Jazzmyn, Alyssa, Lucas, Brooklyn, Brielle, Jase, Alexander, Elizabeth, Logan, Sebastian, Christina and Johnathan. Dave is also survived by his mother and siblings, Dawn (Mike) McLatcher, Jeff, Jerry (Teena), Jennifer (Gary) Paperd, Jeanette (Ron) Tanguma and many nieces and nephews.
Dave is preceded in death by his father, David Hubbard Sr and stepfather, Creighton Mantey.
Dave graduated from Hazel Park High School, in Hazel Park, Michigan before attending Macomb Community College. After graduating, he began his career as a mechanical engineer.
Dave lived for his family. He and his wife recently moved to Florida to be closer to their children and grandchildren. He was a hard-working husband who loved Denise with all his heart. His most cherished moments were spent with his wife and family, loving any time that everyone was together. He considered himself a master chef and was proud of it! He also enjoyed hunting, golfing, Thursday nights with the guys and a good cigar or Manhattan with his sons and friends.
Dave's visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Thursday December 1, 2022, at Lewis Funeral Home Navarre Chapel, 7794 Navarre Parkway Navarre, Florida 32566 followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The American Heart Association in Dave's memory.
