David Lee Kefauver passed away peacefully in his home in Marshfield on November 7, 2024. David was survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joanne Teebagy Kefauver as well as his two daughters Danielle Palmer married to Greg Palmer, Sheila Belisle married to Jeffrey Belisle, also his three grandchildren Jared, Jackson, and Violet and his younger sister Diana McDonald married to Barry McDonald and his loving brother and sister-in-law Frank and Patricia Teebagy.
David was born in Baltimore, MD on March 28, 1948, to Emerson and Ruth Kefauver. After high school David joined the Navy where he met the love of his life Joanne while he was stationed in Bermuda. Soon after they got married and settled down in Marshfield MA. David was a Master Plumber and owned his own Plumbing business until he retired at 60. Joanne and David traveled around the world several times and wintered In Ft. Lauderdale for the past 15 years, where he enjoyed working on his antique 1975 Norton Commando motorcycle, planting avocado and lime trees, and most of all enjoyed entertaining in his CarPort Lounge with his best friend George.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Visiting will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
