Funeral Mass for David Bruce Marchand of Cottonport will begin at 10:00am on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Fr. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will be held at the St. Mary’s No. 2 Cemetery in Cottonport.
David Bruce Marchand, age 75, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Valley View Nursing Home in Marksville.
He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Marchand (Philip Lachney) of Plaucheville and Betty Ponthieux (Jamie) of Cottonport; his mother, Priscilla Lemoine Marchand; grandchild, Lexi Aymond; sisters, Sharon Flash and Becky Laborde.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Marchand, Jr.; brothers, Ralph Marchand and Michael Marchand.
Visitation will begin at 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport. Visitation will resume at 8:30am until 9:30am on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport. Rosary prayer service will begin at 9:30am.
