Beloved Husband, Father, Granddaddy, and Friend
David Richard Roberts, born on December 13, 1951, to Elvis and Gladys Roberts, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024, at the age of 72. He was a cherished husband to Linda, a devoted father to Jeremy and Tamara(Chris), and a loving “Granddaddy” to his cherished puppy, Gracie. David’s vibrant spirit and unconditional love will be forever etched in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Affectionately known as “Diamond Dave,” David was a man of many passions. He was an avid golfer, dedicating countless hours to perfecting his swing while enjoying the camaraderie of friends on the course. His enthusiasm for the game was contagious, and he delighted in sharing his love for golf with everyone around him.
David was a devoted brother to Judy and Marion(Charlene), always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. His playful spirit extended to his puppy, Gracie, whom he adored. Their time together brought him immense joy, as she became a constant companion and a source of comfort in his later years. David’s love for family knew no bounds, encompassing all its members, both two-legged and four.
In addition to being a loving family man, David was an extraordinary friend. His warmth, humor, and unwavering loyalty forged deep connections with those fortunate enough to call him a friend. Whether sharing stories, offering sage advice, or simply being present in times of need, David was a steadfast source of support and affection.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvis and Gladys Roberts; his brother, Johnny Roberts; his sister, Ellen Fehrenbach; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Gibson and George Fehrenbach.
David's memory will live on in the hearts of his devoted wife, Linda; his children, Jeremy and Tamara; his son-in-law, Chris; his beloved puppy, Gracie; his siblings, Judy and Marion, nieces and nephews along with the many friends who became like family throughout his life.
