Met Jerry when we were both age 16. May have been "on the airwaves", but that was too far back since I too am working on 81 years of life on planet earth.
Many experiences were shared, both on and off the radio. Believe I even visited the Jtown Hdwr twice when he was working there. We traded equipment often & even bartered a few times.
Several excursions were shared by us including hamfests and Bernheim Forest a time or two. We were only 3 or 4 months apart in age, he being the older!
Visited him at his parents home, in Shively as well as his home in Fern Creek. Many other places & times over the past sixty-fours years that don´t come back easily!
May he rest in peace,
W4JSB

Marita and family I am so sorry and sad to hear about the loss of Jerry. I worked with him at GE and always remember that he was a super nice guy. Not only was he a co-worker, but he was a cousin of my former brother-in-law (Ed Seidl/Phyllis) who always spoke about his kindness.
