David Francis Stieren, 78, passed away Friday, June 6th, 2025 at Audubon Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Leo Stieren Sr. and Evelyn Pace Stieren; niece, Hope Marie Stieren Orwick (Chris Orwick); great nieces, Emily Paige Orwick and Lindsey Orwick; and his beloved furry companion, Top.
David is survived by his brother, Edward Leo Stieren Jr. (Julie); niece, Alicia Lynne Miracle (Steve); nephew, Edward Leo Stieren III (Carrie); great nieces, Emma Layne Miracle and Margaret Evelyn Miracle; great-great nieces, Charlotte Hope Morales and Kambrie Rayne Lewis.
David retired from GE after 35 years of service.
He loved people. David never met a stranger and was always lending a sympathetic ear or reaching out to assist them in their needs. He always ended a conversation whether in person or on the phone with "take care and stay safe."
He was a long-time member of Resurrection Church, Guardian Angels, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parishes and even though he didn't attend functions there he kept up with the current events via that Catholic Record.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Monday, June 16th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 7335 Southside Drive, with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 pm – 4 pm, Sunday, June 15th at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Drive.
