David Potter Triplett, age 85, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Springfield, MO. David was born to Garland Triplett and Almeda Triplett on July 30, 1939 in Strafford, MO. He graduated from Strafford High School 1958.
David was united in marriage to "Bo" Pearlene (Martin)Triplett on Jan. 28, 1961 in Springfield. David proudly served in the United States Navy from August 15, 1956 and was honorably discharged on August 15, 1962.
David was preceded in death by his father Garland Triplett, mother Almeda Triplett, grandson John David Fulbright, Brother-in-Law Jimmy Sloan. He is survived by his spouse, "Bo" Pearlene Triplett, daughter Angie Fulbright and husband John of Strafford. Son, Steve Triplett and wife Tricia of Strafford. Sister, Joanne Sloan of Springfield. Grandsons Steve Fulbright of Madison, WI. Jake Triplett, and wife Rachel of Shawnee, KS. Granddaughter Katelyn Carroll and husband Brayden of Olathe, KS
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral home East.
Services for David will be at 10:00 am Friday, November 22, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Interment service with full Military Honors will be at Bass Chapel Cemetery following the service.
The Family would like to thank Springfield Rehabilitation Center and Jacob's Ladder.
A special thank you to their amazing, caring, and loving staff, that went above and beyond in their care for David and Bo.
