David Trowbridge Obituary

David Trowbridge, 71, of Cameron, WV, passed away at home on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
He was born November 4, 1951 in Cameron, WV, the son of the late Pershing and Virginia (Walker) Trowbridge. He was a coal miner for 21 years and worked for Marshall County Schools. He was known far and wide for his basketball skills.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Trowbridge. He is survived by his wife, Darlene (Grimm) Trowbridge; his daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Truex of McMechen, WV and Tabatha (James) Gould of Philippi, WV; his siblings, Fredrick (Carol) Trowbridge, Robert (Pam) Trowbridge, Lonna (Ben) Welling, and Jennifer Lynn (Dave) McCombs; and his grandchildren, Alexis and Christopher Truex, and Bryson and Easton Gould.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, WV.

My dearest Darlene, my sister Mary and I just found out today ,June 28 , that you lost your precious husband David in May. Our hearts are broken over your loss. You are so very special to both of us now and forever. We love you so much and appreciate all that you did for our mom. I wish that I could be there to hold and comfort you in your loss.
