Dawn McGirr Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dawn Marie (Oddy) McGirr, who left us on January 5, 2025, in Poughkeepsie, NY. Dawn was born on October 31, 1967, in Paterson, NJ, to Ronald J. Oddy Sr. and Joanne (Cave) Oddy.
Dawn resided in Accord, NY, where she built a life filled with love and cherished memories. She is survived by her devoted father, Ronald, her beloved daughter, Summer, and her brother, James Oddy of Kingston. Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne, and by her brothers; Ronald Jr. and Anthony Profetto.
Dawn shared a beautiful marriage with Edward J. McGirr, which was a testament to their love and commitment.
Memorial services will be held at Humiston Funeral Home, with details to be announced. As we celebrate her life, we remember Dawn for her warmth, kindness, and the love she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
