Deborah McCarter Obituary

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Durbro and Myra Phillips McCarter. She was a graduate of The University of South Carolina and was a diehard Gamecock fan. She was passionate about her dogs. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Blacksburg.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lisa Batchelor Booth and husband, Bill Booth, and four nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Frank Batchelor, and two siblings.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel at 3:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Brown and Rev. Bill Booth officiating.
