Deborah A. (Lecuyer) Ransom, age 73, a longtime resident of Dracut passed away at High Pointe Hospice Home in Haverhill on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Lyle C. Ransom with whom she enjoyed 21 years of marriage before his passing in 1990.
She was born in Newport, RI on September 19, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Donald and Florence Ann (Foley) Lecuyer.
Deborah graduated from Dracut High School with the class of 1967. In her younger years, Debbie enjoyed gardening and snowmobiling with Lyle and her friends at their home in Rangely Maine. She loved working as an LPN and later as a CNA, singing karaoke with her friends, bird watching, and the Red Sox. Most importantly was the time that she spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her 3 children; Lyle Ransom, Colleen Lawler and her husband Brian, and Beth Kizner and her husband Erik. Seven grandchildren; John Leahy and his fiancé Meghan Young, McKenna Kizner, Lyle C.R. Ransom, Erik Kizner, Luke Ransom, Brian Lawler, Ty Ransom, and great grandson Ryder John Leahy (arriving in September). Her brothers Donald Lecuyer and his wife Denise and Leo Lecuyer. Her daughter in-law; Tammy-Jo Ransom, sister in-law and good friend; Jean Ransom, her best friend Celeste Montgomery, her cherished cat; Annie B, and her extended family and dear friends.
A private burial will be held for Deborah by her family at the Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, NH.
