Dennis Tryon Obituary

Dennis resided in Lawrence Park for most of his life and was a 1966 graduate of Iroquois High School. He was a systems analyst at General Electric for 34 years prior to his retirement. Dennis was a lifelong member of the Gospel Assembly Hall, where he served as Treasurer. He had a pilot's license, often piloting small planes and enjoyed snow skiing, sailing and photography. Dennis was also gifted in computer programming, writing his own home programs.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet Tryon; four children, Laura Mentch (Chris), Matthew Tryon (Katie), Karen Joslin (Jordan) and Mary Georgy (Stephen); one brother, Douglas Tryon (Cheryl); five grandchildren, Chloe, Andrew, Beckett, Elise and McKenna; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Philip Tryon.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral and Cremation Services Harborcreek, 5151 Buffalo Road (at Hannon Rd. in Harborcreek Twp.) on Thursday, August 8th, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Friday, August 9th at 11 am. Interment will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
