Dianna L. Sutton

Dianna L. (Belloma) Sutton, 77, of Painted Post, NY, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Absolut Care of Three Rivers.
Born on February 17, 1947, in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Alta (Berry) Belloma. Dianna married Paul Sutton on July 3, 1971. He predeceased her on September 11, 2002. Dianna worked as a nurses aide for Three Rivers before opening and operating a daycare out of her home for many years.
Dianna had many talents. Her love for crocheting, knitting, and quilting was evident in the many blankets and afghans she made. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed adult coloring books to pass the time. Throughout the years, family reunions and get-togethers were a favorite pastime.
Dianna is survived by her children, Tina Blaser of Painted Post, NY, and Thomas Sutton of Hornell, NY; grandchildren, Kristeena K. Blaser of Columbus, OH, and Darek T. Blaser of Corning, NY; brother, David (Liz) Belloma of Elmira, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dianna was predeceased by her siblings, Daniel Belloma and Sue Grey, and her father and mother-in-law, Paul and Ruth Esther Sutton.
A private graveside service will be held at the family's convenience. Phillips Funeral Home, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
