Wadsworth - Don H. Warner Jr., age 81, of Wadsworth, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at his home in Wadsworth, after a period of declining health.

Born on July 26, 1944, in Akron, Ohio, Don was the son of the late Don and Rosemary (Wade) Warner. He graduated from John R. Buchtel High School in 1962 and went on to attend The University of Akron, St. Louis University, and Kent State University. On September 29, 1972, he married Linda J. He concluded his professional career as a Broker with Edward Jones in Wadsworth for six years, retiring in 2006.

Active in his community, Don was a member of the Wadsworth Lions Club and previously belonged to the Wadsworth Kiwanis Club. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, adored his dogs, and was an avid reader. A gun enthusiast, he especially loved skeet shooting. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family and friends, especially the Tuesday group, and Thursday morning neighbors' breakfast .

In addition to his wife, Linda, Don is survived by his daughter, Beth (Michael) Warner Kahn of Johns Creek, GA; twin grandsons, Felix and Warner Kahn; sisters, Mary Rasel of Ravenna and Nancy (John) Lacher of Delaware, OH; and niece and nephews, Adam Ballard, John (Krystn) Rasel, Jessica (Nathan) Lacher, and Michael (MiKayla) Lacher.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Don's Life. Burial of ashes has taken place privately at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth.

I feel very thankful to have grown up witnessed a marriage so stable and loving. Mom and Dad have loved and supported each other throughout 53 years. Mom took the best and most loving & giving care of dad. She faced it with courage and streghth that inspires me. They showed me a lot about love and commitment. We're forever your girls! Love you!

Dad, you will always be in my heart and soul. You will be remembered because you were always a wonderful Dad, Grandpa, Son, Brother, Uncle and loved your Goldens like family. I have learned countless facts, advice, hilarious jokes and sayings from our many conversations. Car advice, that was all you. I will always be able to hear your voice and, still smile. I couldn't have asked for a better dad! ILYUTG (I Love You up to God!)
