Donna J. Campbell

Donna J. Campbell, age 79 of Stuart, Nebraska, passed away Saturday February 8, 2025, at the West Holt Memorial Hospital in Atkinson.
Donna was born on March 25, 1945, in Stuart, Nebraska, the first of three children to Don and Doris (Slachetka) Cadwallader. She grew up on a ranch south of Bassett, NE and attended Sybrant country school and Bassett High School. She didn't get to graduate because she missed too many days when her mother hurt her leg and Donna had to stay home and care for her.
She met Jerry Deweese and was married in Pierre, SD in 1963. Together they had two girls, Laurie and Kelly. Jerry passed away on November 7, 1989, in Glenrock, WY. Donna moved back to Nebraska in 1991. She met Robert Campbell, and they were married on July 1, 1995. Where they brought together 4 more children. Robert passed away on August 31, 2024.
Donna always enjoyed Bingo, traveling, and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children; Kelly Deweese and Laurie Behrendsen both of Omaha; Step children Rashele Campbell of Inman, Robert Campbell of Norfolk, Kurtis Campbell of Page, and Kyle Campbell of Inman; 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents Don and Doris Cadwallader, husbands Jerry Deweese and Robert Campbell, her sister Kathy, and her brother Gary.
