Donna Schulte Obituary Donna Marie Schulte, 82 of Tavares, FL, formerly of Chambersburg, PA, was called home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2025.
She was born on July 1, 1942, in Hagerstown, MD. She was the eldest daughter of the late Lewis Francis and Grace Genevieve Mose. She is proceeded in death by her husband Karl Francis Schulte Sr., sister Gloria Kitchen and children Arthur Phillip Abbott and Beth Ann Abbott.
Mrs. Schulte was a 1960 graduate of Boonsboro High School in Boonsboro, MD. She attended the School of Nursing at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore MD, where she obtained her license as a registered nurse in 1963. Donna completed her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Maryland. Throughout her remarkable fifty-year career in nursing, she wore many hatseach one a testament to her dedication and compassion. She poured her heart into caring for others, leaving a legacy of service and lasting impact on all who knew her.
Donna was a devoted Christian whose love for her Lord and Savior was evident. In her quiet moments, she found joy in music, reading and sewing. Most of all, she treasured time with her family and friends, especially the sweet moments shared over ice cream with her beloved great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Schulte is survived by her daughter Rebecca Leasure (Cletus), Jennerstown, PA. Three grandchildren, Thomas Pope (Samantha) Umatilla, FL, Elizabeth Lynch (Christopher), Tavares, FL and Sarah Stoever (Tyler), Concord, NH. Five great grandchildren: Traighten, Hawke and Hunter Pope; Isabelle and Henry Lynch. She also has many cousins, nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Cletus Leasure officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. View Cemetery in Sharpsburg, MD.
