Doris Louise Clopper, 86, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on September 16, 2024. She was born on February 11, 1938, in Chambersburg to Alvie and Catherine (Suffecool) Leininger.
Doris' life was exemplified by a contagious joy, bringing laughter and fun into daily life. To all her family and friends, her love was marked by devotion, service, and generosity. While her hobbies included sewing, gardening, and cooking, her kitchen skills were near magical.

Her family was the love of her life.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her sister Pauline (Leininger) Bowers.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27 at 10:30 am, at the Fourth Street Church of the Brethren, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spirittrust Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, 2700 Luther Dr, Chambersburg, PA 17202.

As Doris and Terry's very close neighbors, we were often the recipients of her miraculous cooking. And it was a blessing we'll never forget. We have enjoyed living next door to the Cloppers for the past several years and listening to their tales of "the good old times." We will miss Doris very much and pray for her family in their grief. Godspeed Doris.
