Douglas Jess Arnett (Jess), age 59 of Stockbridge passed away November 4, 2021 with his family at his side. He was born on Dec 6th, 1961 in Livonia, Michigan; son of the late Jess and Doris Arnett. Jess graduated from South Lyon High School; Class of 1980.
Jess worked at Precision Stamping as a Design Engineer in Howell and also owner of Arnett's Home services. Jess loved and enjoyed being outside hunting and fishing. Special times were spent with his children and grandchildren riding four wheelers.
Jess loved to share good stories and was very smart and inventive and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and best brother in the world.
Jess is survived by his wife Sherry, the love of his life for 19 years. His children Greg (Taelor) Arnett: Ashley Arnett; Joshua(Lauren) Cardona; Isabelle Arnett and Jesse Jr. Nine grandchildren,nieces and nephews. Sisters, Gloria (Donny) Szalay; Sandy (Greg) Brent; Patty (Bill) Hicks. Mother and Father In-Law Peter and Brigritta Dantzer; Brother and sister in law Michael and Marnee Dantzer. And his two special fur babies, Alfred and Kira. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Doris Arnett and daughter Aurora Cardona.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 with visitation 10am - 11am and Service at 11am at Mason Road Church, 9981 West Mason Road, Fowlerville, A luncheon will be served following the service.

We came to know Jess when he agreed to help us with modifying our house after being in a head-on car crash. Over the months, we learned he was a man who not only cared about the quality of his work, he also cared about the family he was doing the work for. He was was kind, reliable, and he knew how badly we wanted to go back home after being displaced for over three years. He meant more to us than just being our builder. We will miss him.
