Doyle Fields

Lebanon, VA – Doyle Fields, age 67, entered the gates of Heaven on Saturday, September 23, 2023. He was born October 18, 1955 and was the son of the late Rev. Austin and Polly Harmon Fields. He was a beloved husband, father, and Poppy, a member of the Lebanon Town Council, a member of Cedar Pointe Baptist Church, a farmer, a retired school bus driver for Russell County Public Schools and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by his brother: Jerry Fields.
Survivors include his wife: Nina Fields; daughter: Debbie Baker; sons: Jonathan Fields and wife Nicole, Brandon Fields and wife Crystal; brother: Kendall Fields; grandchildren: Sydney Pike and husband Wil, Grayson Baker and wife Dakota, Maddox Baker, Addison Fields, and Cooper Fields; along with several nieces and nephews that also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Ceder Pointe Baptist Church with the Rev. James Nunley, Rev. Darrell Fletcher and Rev. Jeff Kinder officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in Ketron Memorial Gardens. All those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Benny Robinson, Scott Gilmer, Eddie Counts, Eddie Dye, Chad Lampkin, Levi Lampkin, Zac Ketron, Brandon Lampkin, and Austin Kiser.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Lebanon Town Council, Mayor Tony Dodi, Gary "Mitt" Kiser, Steve Osborne, Greg Kiser and George Taylor.
