Duane Sasek Obituary

He is predeceased by his former wife Janet Sasek (Surow). They were married in 1964 and divorced in 1975.
Having earned varsity letters in football, baseball, and wrestling, he graduated from Chartiers-Houston High School in 1964. He was employed as a machine operator at Transformer in Canonsburg and later as a steelworker and welder for several companies around the country.
He enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley with his friends from the Palanka Club and Birch's Tavern.
Immediate family and friends will gather from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on December 14 at the Palanka Club in Houston for a Celebration of Life.

Duane was a Great Friend and Classmate! He was an incredible Athlete, the quarterback of our Hi School Football Team, our Class Treasurer and a Friend to all of us!
We were in the first ever Jr Hi WPIAL wrestling championships where Me, Pat Benic, Jeff Paxton, Carl Stopperich and Duane were all Champions!
