Earl Leo Falk, Jr. age 83, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. Leo was born October 27, 1941 in New Orleans. He was a lifelong resident of the Algiers community of New Orleans and parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. He was the son of the late Earl Leo Falk, Sr., and Mary Della Heitmeier Falk. Brother of the late Rae Ann Falk Campbell and brother-in-law of the late Frank Scotty Campbell. He was a graduate of Saint Aloysius High School in New Orleans and Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA. Leo had a long career with J. Ray McDermott in New Orleans and traveled to many places in the United States and in foreign countries. He also worked for the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans before he retired. He loved his many relatives and they loved him. Leo also cherished the time he spent with the late Sally Gros Vedros and her family. He was known for his jokes, dancing the twist, watching sports, and talking to every person he met. He surely will be missed.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Algiers, LA on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until mass time. Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
