Albert George Caminita Jr.

Albert George Caminita Jr. passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 77. He was born on October 22, 1947, to the late Nathlie Lafrance Caminita and Albert George Caminita Sr. Albert is the brother of Vincent J. Caminita Sr. and Janice Caminita Ingardi. He is the godfather of Vinny Caminita Jr., and cousin of Darlene Lehmann and Kayla Lehmann Miller. Albert is the beloved companion of Shirley Guagliardo. He is the grandfather of Brandon Volpe and Dylan Guagliardo. Albert has been a native of New Orleans for 29 years and lived in Metairie for the past 27 years. In 1965, Albert graduated from St. Aloysius High School. He is an Army Veteran who served in Korea during the Vietnam War. He will be truly missed. Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124 followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
