Edmond M. Mui, age 82 of Waterbury passed away peacefully May 1, 2024 at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was the loving husband of Sabrina (So) Mui.
Edmond was born August 3, 1941 in Taishan, China a son of the late Chun Chi and Mo Lan (Chan) Mui. Edmond was the owner of both the China Luau and China Palace Restaurants in Waterbury for many years. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, eating, trips to the casino and cruising but found his greatest joy being with and spending time with his family.
Besides his loving wife of 56 years he leaves his children Jeany Mui and her husband Michael Pellegrini of Southbury, Danny Mui and his wife Debra of Simsbury, Irene Mui and her husband Jorge Lopez of North Bergen, NJ five grandchildren, Christopher, Julia, Anthony, Alice and Olivia and a host of extended family and close friends.
Arrangements: Calling hours for Edmond will be held on Saturday May 4, 2024 from 10 AM to 12 noon at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway. A procession will leave the funeral home and proceed to Brookside Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Middlebury for cremation.
