Edward Thomas "Tom" Condon III

Edward Thomas "Tom" Condon III of Glendive, Montana passed away at home on Monday, June 30, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glendive with Father Francis Schreiber officiating. Burial will be in the Dawson County Cemetery in Glendive at a later date. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Tom was born in Decatur, Illinois on October 13, 1955, the son of Edward Thomas and Anne (McElroy) Condon. Tom graduated from MacArthur High School in Decatur, and Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois. He also attended graduate school at Southern Illinois University.
For many years he was a diamond buyer at K's Merchandise Corporate Office in Decatur, Illinois. He more recently worked in the Block Management Program for Fish, Wildlife and Parks in Ekalaka, Montana.
On April 29, 1994 Tom married the former Carol Trolia. Tom was serving as a member of the Upland Game Bird Enhancement Program Advisory Council of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.
Surviving is his wife Carol of 31 years, his son Edward Thomas "Tommy" Condon IV along with his girlfriend Alli Silvernale of Glendive, mother Anne Condon of Glendive, sister Cathleen (Cathy) Rees of Lincoln, Nebraska, and his nephew John Rees of Austin, Texas.
Tom was preceded in death by his father. He truly loved his son, fishing and bird hunting with his three English Setters, Alzada, Winston and Vida. The family suggests memorials to the Glendive Medical Center Foundation for specific use by the Heritage Assisted Living Facility.
