Edward J. Gauvin, 82, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly Milford passed away Wed. March 27, 2024 in Florida. He was the husband of Stella (Gauvin) Gauvin.
Edward had been a supervisor at SMTC in Franklin for 20 years.
He was born in 1942 in Minto, New Brunswick, Canada the son of the late Henry and Maryann (Arsenault) Gauvin.
Edward enjoyed playing cards, shuffling, traveling and spending time with his family. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his wife, Stella, of 60 years, he is survived by 4 daughters, Linda and her husband Rheal Landry of New Brunswick, Canada, Carol and her husband David Godin of Milford, Sandra and her husband Edward Holland, Jr. of Hopedale, and Susan and her husband John Moschilli of Whitinsville; 4 sisters, Edna LeBlanc, Corinne Gallant, Marguerite and her husband Harvey Richard all of New Brunswick, Canada and Alice and her husband John Babin of St. Pete, FL; 7 grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Justin, Nicole (Kevin), Jennifer, Edward III and Molly; and 2 great-grandchildren, Luna and Julian. He was predeceased by his siblings, Emile Gauvin, Velma Hebert, Leona Davis, Rita Gauvin and Henry Gauvin, Jr.
Visiting hours will be held Fri. April 5, 2024 from 5 – 7 PM at the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford.
Funeral services will be held Sat. April 6, 2024 from the funeral home at 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Sacred Heart Parish, 187 Hopedale St., Hopedale.
