It is with a sense of heartfelt remembrance that we celebrate the life of Edward "Eddie" Gehringer, who was born on November 8, 1941, in Egg Harbor City, NJ, and who passed away on August 11, 2025 after many recent health challenges.

Edward lived a full life despite his disabilities. He was creative, had a sharp mind and always had a happy disposition. We will remember most his smile and his joy. He is home with the Lord now, completely whole and no longer encumbered by the earthly weights he carried.

Edward leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Charles Mullins, his brother Barry Gehringer, his niece Kim Ragano, his niece Katie Osborne and her husband, Jesse, his nephew John Gehringer and his wife, Bernadette, and nephew Matthew Gehringer, as well as a host of great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bertha "Beth" Gehringer, his youngest brother, David Gehringer, his sister-in-law, Jane Gehringer, and his nephew, Daniel Garcia.

Please join us to celebrate Edward's life on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at McDonald & Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, Georgia, 30040. The visitation will begin at 1:00 PM EDT, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM EDT, and a reception in the community room at 3:00 PM EDT. As we gather to remember Edward, we do not mourn as those who have no hope, but celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the life that he now enjoys in the presence of the Lord.

In memory of Edward, we encourage you to visit his memorial page, where you can leave your memories and upload photos. This is a place to remember and celebrate Edward's life, his resilience, and his many talents.
