Eileen Robbins, age 86, passed away on January 20th, 2025. She was born in Leitchfield, Kentucky on April 16th, 1938, the daughter of Godfrey and Mary Jane Brown.
Eileen was a devoted parishioner at St James Catholic Church in Louisville, KY. She was a loyal dog mom to Mia Sophia; a lover of flowers, soap operas, and always one to have dessert, preferably before dinner. Her devotion and benevolence was felt in grandeur by her family, friends, and many charities and organizations.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John J. Robbins; sons, Thomas Miles and Timothy Miles; and brothers, James Brown and Phillip Brown.
She is survived by her sister, Rose Marie Robinson; her son, James Miles; daughter, Denise Gahm (Phillip); four grandchildren (nana-babies), Amber Sabie (Tarik), Autumn Miles, Chloe Binder (Kyle) and Mason Toohey (Kristen); and four great-grandchildren, Harrison Sabie, Jackson and Eileen Binder, and baby Merritt Toohey, coming Spring 2025.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 26th, 2025, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10:00 am, at St. James Catholic Church, 1826 Edenside Avenue. Private burial will follow.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
