Elizabeth Catherine Huntsman, 92, of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. She was born in Goldthwaite, Texas to JT Adams and Georgia Terry on October 10, 1931. Elizabeth was known to many as Grandma Kay, she was the best grandmother there ever was. She loved spending time with her family, and crocheted blankets for each one of them and others in the community. Grandma Kay was very crafty in her healthier days, she made wreaths for several occasions, she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and anything painted by Thomas Kincade. She was also an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech fan. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, David Huntsman and Darrell Huntsman and wife Melinda; Sisters, Jackie, Gloria, and Millie; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, L.W. Huntsman, two daughters Donna and Debra, and four sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made by selecting the "Tribute Fund" or "Donate Now" button at the top of this page, to assist with the final expenses for Elizabeth Huntsman's funeral services.
