Eugene Michael Scheck was born on January 9, 1948 and raised in Greenwich, CT. He was an Eagle Boy Scout. He got his BA and Masters at CCSU where he was active in the Campus Ministry, Rifle and Photography clubs. He taught Math and Computer Science for 35 years, first at JFK where he was active with ski club, then at Enfield High School. He enjoyed sports, mainly Tennis, Bowling, Golf, and Skiing. He enjoyed photography, baking and stamp collecting.
On August 9, 1969 Eugene married Marilyn Cherry. They went on to have 2 daughters, Amy and Cara.
He was an altar server at All Saints Church in Somers, CT and a volunteer EMT with the Somers Ambulance until his daughters activists took precedence.
Upon retirement he and his wife Marilyn enjoyed traveling, especially an African Photo Safari and River Cruises in Europe and Russia. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Scheck of Somers, his daughter Amy Scheck and son-in-law Leith Niegowski of Windsor and Cara Scheck and son-in-law Joesph Figlar of Somers. Also by his twin brother Edward Scheck and family of Keene, NH.

My first memories go way back since I am his cousin. I have fond memories as a child spending Sundays at my Grandma Carrie 's with Eugene and all of my other cousins. When I think of Eugene I only remember happiness and laughter.
