Eunice Vanda Bettes Robinson was born February 16, 1935 in Oklahoma City, OK to Van G. and Bessie G. Hinkle Bettes. She passed away September 12, 2025 in Yukon, OK.
Eunice married Casey Robinson on August 24, 1955 in Norman, OK. She received a B.S. in secondary education and an M.S. in counseling and guidance from the University of Oklahoma, as well as an M.S. in adult education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Her professional career included teaching in both public and religious schools at the elementary and high school levels, selling real estate, and developing curriculum guides for religious and public education. In addition, she was a public-school counselor and managed private real estate property.
Eunice was a member of the following organizations: Oklahoma Children under Six, National Association of Public-School Counselors, National Association of English Teachers, and National Association of Teachers of Consumer Science. She was president of OHEA, and a Phi Beta Kappa member. In addition, she enjoyed serving in many areas at Bethany First Nazarene Church. She and her husband were privileged to travel to many areas of the world in association with his research at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Casey Robinson.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Troha (husband Phillip) and Cheryl's four children, Franklin Bumpus, Joshua Bumpus, Rachel Burell and Hillary Owens of Decatur, AL; son, Dr. Kent A. Robinson and his three children, Casey Robinson, Lauren Robinson and Mia Robinson; son, Dr. Brian L. Robinson (wife Pauline), their five children, Candace and James Mieding and their children, Desmond and Dietrich; Nathan and Taylor Robinson; Caleb and Emily Robinson and their children, Mabel and Finnian; Vlad Robinson; and Jeremy Robinson.
Viewing at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service will be on Friday, September 19 from 11am-8pm with family present from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 10:00am, at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
