Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Jonette Wix (Archie), Kathy Bookins; sons, John Hucks III, Barry Hucks; grandchildren, Korey Mitchell, Kandis Allen, Kacey Waugh, Brandis Lennon, Brittney Kaurin; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was also preceded in death by her husband, John Hucks; grandsons, Wesley Poss, Brandon Hucks; sister, Barbara Killman; brothers, Carl Morris, JR Morris, Loyd Morris, Ray Morris.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM tomorrow, August 11, 2025, at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Pastor Eddie Allen officiating.
