Fred C. Miller, Jr.,, affectionately known as "Paw Paw," passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025 surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 85. Born on November 6, 1939, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Fred spent his later years in Lilburn, Georgia, where he spent his life focused on his family.

Fred proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962. After his service, he pursued a career in sales. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Fred is survived by his wife, Menta Miller; his children, Kimberly Pressley (Rick) and Kenneth Miller; his grandchildren, Ashley Ayris (Alex), Kenneth Miller Jr. (Toni), and Amanda McCready; and his great grandchildren Haddon, Kennedy, and Addison. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Jones (Ralph) and Janie Hart (Terry). He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Steve Miller.

Fred loved telling jokes, going deep sea fishing, and cheering on his favorite teams - the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed being on the road, especially if it meant a drive to the mountains or the beach. He loved a good James Patterson novel and was known as an avid reader. However, nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his family and supporting his grandchildren in everything they did - from baseball games to dance recitals and everything in between. Fred never met a stranger and was known for being easy-going, gentle, and kindhearted.

The funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Fred Craven Miller, Jr. will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, Saturday 9, 2025 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00pm until time of service at the funeral home.

Fred's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
