Freddie was born August 11, 1948, in Olla, Louisiana. As a child, he loved playing and watching football and was an avid LSU fan to the bitter end. He graduated from Lasalle High School. He retired from Dresser Industries after 40 years. He worked there from October 1969-2009. After retirement, he began taking many trips with his wife, Lynda, daughter and grandchildren, her sister and her husband, and many friends. Freddie enjoyed taking care of his grandchildren.
