Mr. Frederick “Fred” R. Colosky, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Fred was born on May 23, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan, to Lloyal & Anna (German) Colosky. He honorably served in the US Army. On June 19, 1965 Fred married the love his life, Linda Hawkins. Together they shared countless memories, raised their two children, and celebrated 55 years of marriage before her passing in 2021. In his working years, Fred was a carpenter and operated Fred’s Bait & Tackle on M-38. He enjoyed all that the outdoors had to offer including, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his children, Anna (Scott) Jensen, and Fred Colosky, Jr.; grandchildren: Nikolas (Kayla) Jensen, Jacob (Chelsea) Jensen, Kenneth Colosky, Kevin Colosky, Kris Colosky, Elizabeth Colosky, and Sage Colosky; great-grandchildren: Lukas Colosky, Royal Colosky, Violet Colosky, Calista Colosky, Daxton Jensen, Ryleigh Jensen, and soon-to-be, Olivia Jensen; brothers, Bill (Treesa) Colosky, Matt (Linda) Colosky, and Richard (Jackie) Colosky; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Colosky; parents, Anna & Lloyal Colosky; and brother, Lloyal Colosky, Jr.
Private arrangements have been made.
