Frederick C. Michaud, 77 of Corpus Christi, Texas and formerly of Madawaska, Maine, passed away peacefully on 4/30,2025. It is with sad and heavy heart that the Michaud family announces Frederick's passing after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Frederick was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, to his parents Aline and Conrad Michaud. His stepfather Francis "Mac" McDermott served as his father for most of his life and was very special to him. He leaves behind his brother Paul and sister-in-law Maureen and many cousins. He also leaves behind his very special friend Mary LeMaire of Corpus Christi, Texas, who he has known for many years while he lived in Texas. Frederick graduated from Madawaska High School in 1966 and went on to graduate from Texas A &M University with a degree in Education. He taught school at the Junior High level in Corpus, Christi and eventually became a Guidance Counselor. Frederick had a tremendous love for his Alma Mater, Texas A&M University, sports, and his church. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts that he touched. He was predeceased by his parents and stepfather. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the St. Thomas Church. Interment will be held in the Parish Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
