Gary Dettman Obituary
Born to eternal life October 23, 2023. Age 71.
Loving husband of Deborah (Nee Byczynski) Dettman for 36 years. Loving Dad of Ashley (Daniel) Keller and Adam (Melissa) Dettman. Dear Papa of Cameron Dettman, Brynley and Emilia Keller. Brother of David (Patricia) Dettman. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Gary played baseball and was a 1975 graduate of UW La Crosse. Gary worked for the Milwaukee Recreation Division for over 30 years. Gary retired in 2012, and he enjoyed watching many sports, traveling, gambling, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Special thank you to Dr. Charles Player, Staff at St. Lukes and Aurora At Home for all the compassion and sincere care. Gary will be deeply missed by his family and his bedside buddy, Gus.
Memorial gathering at Max Sass Funeral Home, Greenridge Chapel, on Thursday, November 9, 4 PM to 6 PM. Memorial service at 6 PM. Private entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
