Rev. George A. Creal, 79, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully at home. He was surrounded by all his loved ones when he drew his last breath and left us to be with his Lord and Savior. He married Linda Creal on September 11, 1965 and they were married for 57 years. He served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from Southern Baptist Seminary with a Bachelor's Degree and then Newburgh University with a degree in Doctrine. He retired from nursing in 2022 and remained active in fellowship until his passing. George enjoyed fishing, golfing, spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to worship in the name of the Lord.
He is survived by children, John Creal, Gaellis Darling, Delia Creal and Taylor Ocasio (Luis Ocasio Charbonier); grandchildren, Kelsey Gonzalez (Kimberly), Rianna Johns, Jonathan Creal, Wilson Walker, Kallen Lynch, Grant Lynch, Georgia Temple, Payton DePersia, Ashley Erin DePersia, Torrey DePersia; great-grandchildren, Presley Monson, Luna Temple Hunt, Raelynn Gonzalez, Evelyn Gonzalez, Ronin Gonzalez, Marlee Gonzalez, Parker Monson and Penelope Monson; his beloved dogs, Luke, White Boy, Maggie, Sofie and Missy. He is predeceased by his parents, Dennis W. and Georgia (Norman) Creal; spouse, Linda Creal; and sister, Denna Gene Creal.

Graveside service will be at 9:00am on Friday, July 26, 2024 in Roscoe Cemetery, 5550 Harrison Street, Roscoe, IL 61073. George fought long and hard battling against cancer, so in lieu of flowers, please in his honor, send all donations to the American Lung Association, action.lung.org.
