EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of George Ross Cummings announces his passing on Monday, May 21, 2018 at the age of 70. A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Matthew Hebert officiating.
George was a native of Eunice and a resident of Covington. He was a graduate of St. Edmund High School and La Tech University in Ruston. He was a private and commercial Pilot and traveled the country and loved every minute of it. He enjoyed life. George was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him especially his four children, Todd Cummings and wife, Nancy of St. Petersburg, FL, Elizabeth Cummings Hyde and husband, Benjamin of Ocean Springs, MS. George Ross Cummings, II and wife, Rebekah of Covington and Kelli Provost and husband, Lucien of Lafayette and the five joys of his life, his grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Megan and Ashley Cummings and Wyatt Brooks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Millie Delarue Cummings and a brother, Lewis Cummings.
