Gladys Carbonell, 69, of Bristol, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
Gladys was born on August 23, 1955 in Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Alberto and Confesora (Maldonado) Carbonell.
Gladys was a vibrant dancer and was the life of the party. For Gladys her children and grandchildren were her life and she loved to cook for everyone. Everyone who was blessed to meet her knew that she had a heart of gold and left an ever lasting impact on everyone she has come across.
Gladys was always dressed to the nine and loved to shop. Her favorite foods were Taco Bell and "Kentucky." Her favorite hobbies were the casino, beach, and watching TV. Gladys was very intune with her Catholic roots and her prayers were powerful. She loved her birds and now she will fly high with them.
Gladys is survived by her children Zuheid Murray and her husband Michael Sr. of Bristol, Joed Rosado and his wife Amie of Bristol, Jose Rosado and his wife Janelisse of Bristol, and Francies Soto of Bristol; grandchildren Elijah, Jonathan, Naveyah, Nayeli, Kamila, Migue, Geryalis, Khalil, Shakyra, Essence, Tiana, Shaday, Michael Jr., and Bryana, and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Maria, Josefina, Yolanda, Jesus and Milagros Carbonell and several nieces and nephews.
