Mr. Usrey passed away October 21, 2022, at RMC in Anniston. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton, and Edna Usrey; brothers, Cotton Usrey and Wallace Usrey; sisters, Joyce Yancey.
He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Sabrina Usrey; son, Chad Usrey (Rebecca); grandchildren and the loves of his life, Rubie and Roxie Usrey; siblings, Ruth Dement, Charlotte Carr, Terese Bradshaw (Scott), Ermund Usrey, Tina Usrey, Clint Usrey and Martha Hunter; sister in law, Helen Usrey; brother in law, Sam Yancey; mother in law, Judy Johnson; father in law, Dallas Bundrum.
Pallbeares will be Mr. Usrey's nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of SuperValue and Russell Cobb, Emmett Doggrell, Larry Stephens, Dennis Whiteside, Milton Daughtery, Eddie Gearhart, and Steve Phillips.
Mr. Usrey was retired from SuperValue after 35 years of employment. He worked for 20 years at Usrey Lawncare. He coached football and baseball and helped with Saks littleleague. He was a member of 1st United Methodist of Saks and loved the Lord. He loved fishing and watching Alabama Football. His life will be honored and lived through others. He will forever be missed.
The family would also like to thank Dr. V.M. Reddy and the entire 9th floor staff for their exceptional care.

Sabrina and family we will continue to pray for y'all. I want to say something really great, but the greatest thing I can say is he really was a great guy. I have so many fond memories of him. He could be so much fun, and he would tell it like it was! He got serious about life when he started going out with you. You were just what he needed. Rest in peace Frog (that's all I knew him by). He really was a mess! (LOL)
