Grace S. Morrin, a cherished resident of Bronx, New York, peacefully passed away on May 13th, 2024, at the age of 93. Born in Manhattan to Peter and Kathleen Queenan, Grace held a special place as the eldest among six siblings. Following her mother's marriage to Edmund W Duggan, Grace was lovingly raised within a blended family.
Growing up in the Bronx, Grace pursued her education at PS16, St. Brendan's Grammar School, and Walton High School. After finishing High School, Grace dedicated a significant portion of her professional life to the Federal Reserve Bank in Manhattan, where she worked as a check processor. However, it was in her leisure time that she discovered her innate artistic talents. Later in life, Grace bravely confronted mental illness, leading to an early retirement as she pursued treatment.
Remembered for her inner and outer beauty, Grace exuded a wonderful personality and cherished time spent with her beloved family. She leaves behind her sister Mary Duggan-Sheehan, and is preceded in death by her siblings William Franklin Duggan, Edmund Augustus Duggan, Kathy Tormos-Morris, and John Joseph Duggan. Grace will be deeply missed by her numerous nieces and nephews.
