Lee was on several boards including the YMCA, The Friends of DePaul Inc., and the Tidewater Winds and was involved with fundraising for all of them. He was also an active member of First Lutheran church where he served on the church council, sang in the choir, and formed many lifelong friendships with many of the parishioners.
Lee's hobbies included dancing, bridge, playing his trombone, swimming, tennis, ping pong, and surf fishing at his Outer Banks beach cottage. He was also an avid reader of history.

Mr. Addison was a very kind and generous man who will be missed by many. I'll always remember him encouraging me in my artistry dreams (drawing Roger Rabbit in 6th grade) and later in my higher educational pursuits. He possessed a positive, open manner and was so wonderful to our family. We loved him very much and will miss him.
